Account Deletion Guide
This guide explains how to delete your Acosmi unified account, what you must do before deletion, what happens to your data afterwards, and which records we are legally required to retain.
Applicable region: International (users outside mainland China). Users in mainland China please switch to the Simplified Chinese (China region) edition.

1. Your Right to Delete Your Account
You have the right to close your Acosmi account at any time.
- Under GDPR Article 17 (right to erasure), users in the European Economic Area may request deletion of personal data we hold about them, subject to the exceptions described in Article 17(3) — including data we must retain to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Under the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), California residents have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to exceptions where retention is necessary to complete transactions, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, or similar purposes.
- Equivalent rights exist under many other national and state privacy laws. Regardless of your location, we offer account deletion to all users as a matter of policy.
The Acosmi group — Xiezhua (Beijing) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and Hongshen (Beijing) Legal Consulting Co., Ltd. (together "we", "us", trading as "Acosmi") — operates a single unified account across all products: Acosmi (web agent platform, Agent Studio), Crab Code (desktop/CLI), Bench (众律宝 legal workspace), Trusted Timestamp (可信时间章 e-certification and evidence preservation), the mobile App (iOS/Android), and the mini-program. Deleting your account means:
- Your login access across all of the above products is immediately terminated.
- All account data (conversations, files, knowledge bases, workflows, created content, etc.) will be deleted or anonymised, except records we are legally required to retain (see Section 7).
- Remaining membership benefits, Credits balance, and other virtual entitlements are cleared and are non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Account deletion is irreversible. Please read this guide in full and complete the pre-deletion checklist in Section 4 before submitting your request.
2. How to Request Account Deletion
2.1 Customer Support Channel (Available Now — Recommended)
Account deletion is currently handled via customer support, after identity verification:
- Email: fuwu@acosmi.com — use the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include your registered phone number or email address and a description of your situation.
- Phone: +86-400-026-9678 (4000269678) — available Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 CST (UTC+8); closed on Chinese public holidays.
Once identity is verified, we typically complete the deletion within 5 business days and confirm the outcome to you.
2.2 In-App Self-Service (Rolling Out)
In-app self-service deletion is being progressively enabled. When available, the approximate path will be Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. If that option is not yet shown on your platform, please use the customer support channel above. Expected per-platform paths (once live) are listed below — not yet available at this time:
Web (acosmi.com)
- Sign in to acosmi.com and click your avatar to open Settings.
- Select Privacy from the menu.
- Scroll to the bottom and click the Delete Account button.
- Enter the verification code sent to your registered phone number or email address.
- Read the deletion notice, tick the confirmation checkbox, and click Confirm Deletion.
Desktop App (Crab Code / Acosmi Desktop)
- Open the client and click your avatar or the menu icon to open Settings.
- Select Privacy, click Delete Account, and follow the same steps as the web flow.
Mobile App (iOS / Android)
- Open the Acosmi App and tap the Profile tab.
- Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account, enter the verification code, and confirm.
Mini-Program
- Open the mini-program, go to My → Settings → Account Management → Delete Account.
- Due to mini-program environment restrictions, you will be redirected to acosmi.com to complete the final confirmation.
All of the above entry points delete the same unified Acosmi account. Once deletion is confirmed through any client, your login session on all other clients will be invalidated simultaneously.

4. Pre-Deletion Checklist
Please verify each item below before submitting your deletion request. Once the cooling-off period begins, these actions can no longer be completed from within the account.
4.1 Financial and Subscription Matters
- Confirm that all orders are settled and there are no outstanding payments.
- In Billing / Subscription Management, turn off all auto-renewal subscriptions. If you cannot find the option, you can cancel recurring charges directly via Alipay ("My → Services → Deduction Services") or WeChat Pay ("Wallet → Auto-renewal"), or ask customer support to assist. (See Payment and Refund Policy for details.)
- Acknowledge that your remaining Credits balance and any add-on data-pack balance will be cleared without refund; contact support if you have questions.
- Confirm there are no pending top-up or withdrawal operations in progress.
4.2 Data Export and Backup
- Export or back up important conversation histories (use the export function on the conversation list page).
- Download or save files, images, and knowledge base content.
- Export workflow and Agent Studio configurations (if applicable).
- Note down or store any Open API keys (sk-) — these will be permanently revoked on deletion and cannot be recovered.
4.3 E-Signing and Evidence Preservation Matters (Bench / Trusted Timestamp)
- Ensure all in-progress e-contracts have been fully signed or otherwise handled (e.g., cancelled or other parties notified).
- Confirm that all evidence preservation requests have been submitted and that you have downloaded the resulting certificates; after account deletion you will not be able to query new evidence records through the platform (completed records are retained by law — see Sections 7 and 8).
- Close or complete any open Bench (众律宝) legal workspace tasks (contract drafts, lawyer credential reviews, etc.).

4.4 Third-Party Logins
- If you wish to continue using your Google, Apple, or other linked third-party account with other services, consider unlinking them in your account settings first, to avoid confusion later.
- Note: unlinking cannot be performed after deletion is confirmed.
4.5 Organisation / Enterprise Accounts
- If you are the Owner of an enterprise workspace, transfer ownership to another member or dissolve the workspace before submitting your deletion request.
- If you are an Admin, liaise with the Owner to ensure a proper handover.
- After a workspace is dissolved, other members' data will be handled in the same way as individual account deletion.
5. 7-Day Cooling-Off Period
After we accept your deletion request, a cooling-off period applies (typically 7 days).
- During this period your account remains fully active — you can sign in and use all services normally; the deletion has not yet taken effect.
- If you change your mind during the cooling-off period, contact us via fuwu@acosmi.com or +86-400-026-9678 to withdraw your request. Once the in-app self-service flow is available, you will also be able to cancel the request from within account settings.
- Once the cooling-off period ends, deletion takes effect. The account and its data enter the deletion/anonymisation process. This cannot be undone.
- If you believe the deletion request was submitted without your consent (e.g., an account compromise), contact us immediately to freeze the account and cancel the request.
6. Consequences of Account Deletion

These consequences are irreversible. If you later wish to use Acosmi services again, you must register a new account (see Section 10).
7. Data Handling After Deletion
When account deletion takes effect, we delete or anonymise your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. However, certain records must be retained for the minimum period prescribed by applicable law. The table below lists these categories:

All retained records:
- Are stored in access-controlled, isolated storage with strict access restrictions;
- Are not used for marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than fulfilling the relevant legal obligation;
- Are irreversibly deleted or anonymised once the applicable retention period expires.
GDPR Article 17(3) and equivalent provisions in other laws expressly permit continued retention of data where it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, to exercise or defend legal claims, or for other enumerated purposes — which is the sole basis on which we retain the records listed above.
8. Special Note: Bench and Trusted Timestamp (Hongshen Legal Services)
Bench (众律宝) and Trusted Timestamp (可信时间章) are provided by Hongshen (Beijing) Legal Consulting Co., Ltd. and involve legally binding electronic signatures and evidence preservation.
- Completed e-contracts: Once a contract has been signed by all parties, it carries full legal force under applicable e-signature law. Your account deletion does not affect the legal validity of any such contract. The underlying records are retained for the statutory period set out in Section 7.
- Completed evidence preservation certificates: The legal effect of a timestamped evidence record is not diminished by account deletion. We strongly recommend that you download and save your evidence certificates (PDF format) before submitting your deletion request, as your ability to access them through the platform will end upon deletion.
- In-progress signing or evidence preservation workflows: These will be terminated when deletion takes effect. Please complete or cancel them before proceeding.
- Bench workspace data (contract drafts, lawyer credential documents, consultation records): Treated as general account data and deleted/anonymised after the cooling-off period, subject to the legal retention requirements in Section 7.

9. Deletion of Minor Accounts
If the account to be deleted belongs to a person under 18 years of age, the request must be initiated by their legal guardian:
- The guardian contacts us via the assisted channel (fuwu@acosmi.com or +86-400-026-9678) and provides:
- The minor's registered phone number or email address;
- Valid proof of the guardian's identity (government-issued ID document);
- Proof of guardianship relationship (e.g., birth certificate or equivalent official document).
- We will review the submitted materials and complete the deletion within 5 business days, confirming the outcome to the guardian.

10. Re-Registration After Deletion
Account deletion does not permanently bar the phone number or email address from being used again. As a general rule, you may re-register a new Acosmi account using the same or a different phone number or email address 30 days or more after deletion takes effect.
- After re-registration, the new account starts completely fresh. Previous data is not recoverable.
- If the original account was suspended for a policy violation, the associated phone number or email may be subject to restrictions; our support team can advise on the specific situation.
- Enterprise workspaces must be recreated; previous workspace membership relationships will not be automatically restored.

To request account deletion, or if you encounter any difficulty once the self-service flow is available (e.g., account locked, unable to receive verification code, forgotten registered contact details), please contact us:

- We will respond within 3 business days of receiving your email. Once identity is verified, processing typically completes within 5 business days.
